Richard is responsible for the financial stewardship of Blueleaf, supporting the CEO and Senior Leadership Team in shaping strategy and driving business performance. As Chief Financial Officer, he leads a ten-person finance team spanning financial control, financial planning and analysis, transactional finance and legal, providing the financial insight, governance and commercial support needed to drive sustainable growth and informed decision-making across the business.

With more than 30 years of experience, Richard brings a highly commercial perspective to the business. His expertise lies in supporting profitable growth, drawing on a breadth of experience gained across a variety of organisations facing similar commercial and operational challenges. Working closely with teams across the business, particularly sales, marketing, operations and the CEO, he acts as both a strategic adviser and commercial partner. 

Richard is passionate about positioning finance as a genuine business partner, helping teams make confident, evidence-based decisions that support long-term success. His leadership style is grounded in fairness, logic and inclusiveness, while colleagues value his calm approach, accessibility and ability to remain measured under pressure.

Richard is CIMA qualified and brings more than three decades of commercial finance leadership experience to his role as CFO.
