

Clare Ball

Clare is responsible for leading Blueleaf's HR function and delivering the company's people strategy. She oversees all areas of HR, including employee relations, reward and recognition, wellbeing, learning and development, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and HR communications. Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, managers and colleagues across the business, Clare plays a key role in aligning people strategy with organisational performance.
With almost three decades of experience in senior HR roles, Clare combines sound judgement with a highly practical approach to supporting people and businesses through change. Her experience spans a wide range of sectors, including healthcare, retail, defence, energy, professional services, manufacturing, engineering and law, giving her a broad commercial perspective and the ability to translate HR expertise into meaningful business outcomes.
Clare is passionate about delivering a trusted, professional HR service that supports both individuals and organisational success. She is guided by a strong work ethic and a commitment to achieving high-quality outcomes, bringing pragmatic solutions to complex people challenges while ensuring HR remains a valued strategic partner to the business.
Clare says:

Clare holds a Human Resources Management degree and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Throughout her career she has led complex organisational redesign programmes and played a key role in delivering a major terms and conditions change programme affecting more than 6,500 employees.
