Lead Growing through opportunity

Viktoriia Shostak’s journey at Blueleaf is a powerful example of growth and opportunity. Now an Operational Improvement Lead, she works across the business to analyse data, lead projects and drive more efficient and sustainable ways of working. 

She joined Blueleaf in August 2022 as an agency Warehouse Operative, just one month after arriving in the UK. Since then, she has progressed rapidly, moving into an Operations Administrator role before stepping into her current position. 

Each role has expanded her perspective and skillset, giving her a broad understanding of how the business operates. 

A key focus of Viktoriia’s work has been strengthening Blueleaf’s sustainability approach. Leading the Sustainability Committee and developing the EcoVadis improvement plan, she has helped establish stronger governance, introduce supplier ESG assessments and streamline processes through automation. 

This has created a clear roadmap for improving sustainability performance and marked a significant step forward for the business. 

Viktoriia highlights the importance of trust and opportunity in her development. With support, flexibility and the chance to work across multiple teams, she has been able to grow quickly and confidently. She particularly values the inclusive culture, where people are encouraged to contribute and make an impact.
