As Warehouse Manager at the Wakefield depot, Darrel Watson is responsible for the smooth and efficient running of operations. From managing stock and deliveries to supporting his team day to day, his focus is on maintaining high standards while continuously improving how the warehouse performs. 

Darrel began his journey at Blueleaf as a Supervisor on the PM shift, building a strong foundation in warehouse operations and team coordination. A key step in his development came through a secondment to the Crawley depot, where he gained valuable experience managing a different site and team. 

Following this, he successfully stepped into his current role as Warehouse Manager, taking on greater responsibility and continuing to drive improvements within the operation. 

One of his standout achievements was successfully adapting during that secondment -quickly building relationships, understanding a new environment and maintaining performance standards. Through collaboration and a focus on consistency, he helped create a more stable and efficient operation. 

Darrel credits his progression to the trust and support he has received at Blueleaf, along with a positive culture that encourages growth. For him, it’s the sense of teamwork that stands out most - everyone working together to deliver the best outcomes for customers.
