Blueleaf supports World Continence Week

Blueleaf brings creativity and connection to Exemplar Healthcare residents with pottery painting workshop

As part of World Continence Week 2025, Blueleaf, a trusted supply partner to the care sector, attended Exemplar Healthcare’s Hillside Court Care Home in Leeds, to run a creative and engaging pottery painting workshop for residents.

The session formed part of Blueleaf’s wider initiative to support wellbeing, self-expression, and connection in care homes across the UK, while also promoting best practice in sustainable continence care.

Residents were invited to decorate ceramic pots; each creating a colourful and personalised piece to keep in their room or display in shared spaces. The activity encouraged gentle physical movement, sparked conversation, and brought joy to participants — all of which are known to positively impact emotional wellbeing and cognitive health.

The workshop at Hillside Court was one of many being delivered by Blueleaf to help care homes create meaningful moments for residents, while supporting operational goals around person-centred care and sustainability.
