The Blueleaf senior leadership team has successfully completed the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge, raising awareness and funds for two deserving charities: Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide (SoBS) and Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

The challenge saw the team tackle one of the UK's most iconic long-distance walks, covering 24 miles and ascending the three peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in a single day.

While the physical challenge tested endurance, determination and teamwork, the motivation behind the event was clear: supporting two organisations that provide vital services to people during some of life's most difficult moments.

Supporting Important Causes

As Blueleaf's chosen charities for 2026, both Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide and Yorkshire Air Ambulance carry out invaluable work within communities across the UK.

SoBS provides peer support to adults who have been impacted by suicide loss, helping individuals navigate grief and connect with others who understand their experiences. Meanwhile, Yorkshire Air Ambulance delivers lifesaving emergency medical care across Yorkshire, responding to incidents where every second counts.

The Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge provided an opportunity for the Blueleaf Senior Leadership Team to raise awareness of these causes while bringing colleagues, customers and partners together in support of the charities' ongoing work.

A Challenge Worth Taking On

Despite months of preparation, completing the route was no easy feat.

Nick Frogbrook, Chief Executive Officer, said: "Taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks was a real challenge, both physically and mentally, but knowing why we were doing it kept us going throughout the day. We are incredibly proud to have completed the challenge and to be supporting two charities that make such a positive difference to people's lives."

The event also highlighted the importance of teamwork, with participants encouraging one another through every stage of the route.

Ellen Ward, Sales & Marketing Director, added: "The sense of achievement at the finish line was incredible. It wasn't about individual performance; it was about working together, supporting one another and raising awareness for causes that mean so much to us as a business."

Thank You for Your Support

Blueleaf would like to thank everyone who donated, shared messages of encouragement and helped raise awareness ahead of the challenge.

Every contribution will help support the ongoing work of Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide and Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
