A complete refurbishment which would not only prove fit-for-purpose but would reflect the home's high aesthetic standards and be completed within a tight timescale. New Century Care briefed Blueleaf to design a wholescale fit-out.
This included bedrooms, corridors, reception areas, a dining and lounge area and a connecting conservatory. Blueleaf was tasked with connecting the large open space of the dining, lounge and conservatory area with the separate reception area. The desing scheme created a series of smaller, distinct areas - with different styles to suit a range of tastes - all with the feel of seperate rooms.
The Coppice has 85 spacious one and two-bedroom apartments and provides high quality independent living for people with a range of care and support needs.
Cedar View offers state-of-the-art facilities over three floors, with dedicated care for up to 65 elderly residents, including acute nursing and dementia care and advanced dementia with palliative care.

The Chocolate Works care village is an innovative and ambitious design project that Blueleaf delivered. Since opening in 2017 it has become and unrivalled care provider in a wonderful location.
The new-look care home has been a hit with residents and staff alike. On top of attracting 700 viewings on its first open day, The Chocolate Works has also scooped a number of accolades including the prestigious Pinders Healthcare Design Award for ‘Best Care Village’
